850nm NIR Camera Auxiliary Source
850nm can support machine vision, camera auxiliary sources, ALPR / ANPR and industrial inspection, offering a practical balance between camera response, working distance and optical efficiency.
SENSING & MACHINE VISION
We support sensing, machine vision, camera auxiliary source and custom NIR module projects with VCSEL bare die, SMD VCSEL, diffuser-integrated packages, VCSEL arrays and FR4 PCB board-level source options.
This solution focuses on 850nm, 940nm and 1064nm NIR source directions, with project discussions around 808nm high-power NIR, VCSEL bare die on FR4 PCB, custom diffuser, FOV control, VCSEL array and custom NIR modules.

APPLICATION PLATFORMS
Sensing and machine vision projects usually require a stable NIR source, suitable wavelength selection, controlled beam angle and spot distribution matched to the camera or detector.
850nm, 940nm and 1064nm can be used for different camera, imaging and sensing source projects. We have project experience using 1064nm VCSELs for camera-related NIR sources, and also direct VCSEL bare die assembly on FR4 PCB for cost-sensitive source designs.
PRODUCT DIRECTIONS
This page focuses on 850nm, 940nm and 1064nm camera and sensing sources, mainly using VCSEL bare die, SMD VCSEL, diffuser-integrated packages and FR4 PCB board-level sources, with VCSEL array and custom NIR module options.
850nm can support machine vision, camera auxiliary sources, ALPR / ANPR and industrial inspection, offering a practical balance between camera response, working distance and optical efficiency.
940nm can support compact sensing and short-range camera applications where lower visible red glow is preferred, including compact sensing modules, consumer electronics and low-visible-glow systems.
We have project experience using 1064nm VCSELs for camera-related NIR source applications. 1064nm can support selected camera auxiliary sources, custom detection modules and longer-wavelength sensing directions.
We have project experience with VCSEL bare die directly assembled on FR4 PCB, supporting cost-sensitive camera auxiliary and sensing source designs while reducing package and module cost.
We have VCSEL integrated-diffuser project experience. Available FOV directions include 40° × 30°, 60° × 45°, 90° × 70°, 118° × 20°, and 120° × 20° for camera, machine-vision, and sensing modules.
VCSEL arrays support multi-point sources, structured light, sensing arrays, and project-specific spot distributions. We define layout, pitch, emitter count, connection method, and drive mode by project.
