This 905nm 70W 7Mil multi-junction VCSEL laser chip is designed for ultra-high-peak-power pulse near-infrared illumination, active optical sensing, industrial detection, machine vision support, and high-power optical source development.
The product is supplied as a standard VCSEL laser chip by default. It is suitable for 905nm high-peak-power pulse source modules, active NIR illumination, optical detection systems, industrial sensing modules, machine vision auxiliary source evaluation, and chip-level VCSEL integration projects.
With 70W-class pulse optical output power at IF = 15A, this device provides a compact ultra-high-peak-power 905nm VCSEL source for applications requiring strong short-pulse NIR output, high-voltage pulse operation, and compact die-level integration.
2. Key Features
This 905nm 70W multi-junction VCSEL laser chip is supplied as a standard ultra-high-peak-power pulse VCSEL device for NIR illumination, sensing, and active optical detection applications.
Key features include 905nm typical wavelength, 70W-class pulse optical output power, multi-junction VCSEL structure, 20V typical forward voltage, 26% typical power conversion efficiency, 18° typical beam divergence at 1/e², and doughnut-shaped symmetrical far-field output.
The compact die format, 20±1μm emitting aperture, and high-current pulse drive capability allow flexible integration into ceramic submounts, chip-on-board assemblies, high-peak-power optical modules, and customer-specific VCSEL packages.
Package-level assembly, wire bonding, ceramic submount mounting, pulse drive condition review, thermal path design, beam shaping, divergence control, and customer-specific optical spot requirements can also be reviewed according to the customer's optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical layout.
3. Application Development Direction
This device supports 905nm ultra-high-peak-power pulse NIR illumination, active optical detection, industrial sensing, machine vision support, high-power VCSEL module development, and custom optical source integration.
In a high-peak-power pulse illumination or active sensing module design, the VCSEL wavelength, peak output power, pulse width, duty cycle, drive current, forward voltage, package structure, thermal path, beam profile, detector response, optical path, and final system signal behavior should be reviewed together.

An Initial Product Report has been filed with the U.S. FDA CDRH for the Laser Diode Series, including the VCSEL Laser Diode Chip Series. CE-related documentation is also available for project evaluation, including EMC documentation and EN 60825 laser safety / LVD test documentation. Material compliance documentation, including RoHS, REACH, and HF documentation can also be provided upon request.
